It has always been my joy to bring people together in memorable ways. Breaking bread, sharing stories and laughing around the dining table was probably when I first fell in love with hospitality.  

I started my professional journey about 35 years ago, as an artist hanging my art in group shows. I quickly learned how to curate, so those were more than mere exhibitions – they were storied events, unfolding moment by moment.

As my experience increased with other special events and fundraisers, I learned to make every detail special and to anticipate a myriad of special hospitality needs. My moniker - Hurricane In A Box was born out of deftly managing a swirling storm of event details.

As a conference planner, I learned that timing is everything and that planning, wayfinding and meals will make or break your event. Most importantly, I learned to elevate the human experience and keep hospitality care as the top priority of any event I’m engaged in.

Hurricane In A Box plans every aspect of your event, be it a symposium, educational forum, conference, summit or other special event. We consider every detail, from start through finish, so that when asked “might you have…” the answer is always, “…and here you are!”. Every Hurricane In A Box event is more than just an experience, it’s a little bit of magic!
